Centre 27 Birstall is to be transformed from a tired 1980’s pavilion-style business park into a new retail warehouse shopping site. Conveniently located close to junction 27 just off the M62, the area is already a bustling retail destination.
DKA have been part of the design team tasked since 2015 with obtaining a valuable outline consent to redevelop an existing 1.59 hectare business park at Birstall near Leeds. Existing vacant office buildings have been demolished and will be replaced by new retail units to complement existing nearby retail parks. The development will comprise three new two-storey warehouse retail units amounting to around 7,900sqm, together with a new site access, car parking and landscaping.
